Dr. Beth Trez is a professional pianist/keyboard player and music educator. She holds Bachelor of Music Degrees from Shenandoah University in jazz studies and commercial music, a Master of Music degree in music education from NYU, and a Doctorate of Music degree in music education from Shenandoah University. Currently, Beth owns and operates the Trez Music Education Center, a private music education facility in Mechanicsburg, PA.
In 2024, Beth relocated to Shippensburg, PA upon the passing of her beloved father, Tom Trez, to help her mom with the family farmette. With Trez Music thriving in Mechanicsburg, Beth felt called to open a small piano studio in Newville so she could be closer to home. Thus "Tunes" was born.
Beth also has an active performance career, playing solo and in bands since 1995 and has extensive experience in jazz, classical, rock, blues, Motown, pop, and sacred styles. She has performed in Central Pennsylvania with groups such as Cruise Control, M80s, Shotgunn, X Factor, Kerensa Gray Jazz, Alexia Christian Music, Quiet Soul, the Dave Stahl Sacred Orchestra, and Octagon. Music is Beth’s life and she is very excited to bring more music opportunities to others through "Tunes".
